Over 175 Sensory Toys You Can Find At Dollar Tree
When you walk in the Dollar Tree, you most likely go straight to the toy section, right? There is a nice selection of sensory toys that pop up in calm down bins all over Pinterest, so you want to snatch those up for your kids. Well, do you check out the pet section, or the home decor, or cleaning supplies, or even the health & beauty section? You would be surprised to find out what you’ve been missing. But I’m about to share it all with you! There are at least 175 different sensory toys at Dollar Tree! Let that sink in.
I spent 2 1/2 hours at Dollar Tree today, while my parents graciously watched my boys. Otherwise, the trip would have lasted no more than 10 minutes…because that’s all my sweet little guys can handle in a store, without melting down. You know how it is! I had never actually walked down every aisle and inspected each item, so I’m assuming you haven’t had that opportunity either. That’s okay, because now you will know what to look for next time you need some sensory needs met.
To make it even easier, these are broken down into groups for you! 😉 Most of the items listed here are shown in the images – I tried to get pictures of them all! Let’s jump right in!

Ready for a sensory haul at Dollar Tree?
Phew! Can you believe that?! All those awesome sensory products for just a dollar each! Make sure you’re checking in the little bins and racks by the registers – a lot of fun little sensory things can be found there. I really hope you enjoyed this (ridiculously long) list! There’s no need to go out and spend a ton of money on sensory toys that can be found at the Dollar Tree!
Have you scored some sensory toys at the Dollar Tree that I missed? Definitely let me know in the comments!
I need to visit your dollar store! Our’s is rather small so it doesn’t have nearly as much as you were able to find. We do have a larger one a bit further away. Maybe I need to make a trip there (especially as they are putting out their ‘back to school’ stuff).
Oh yes, they have a much better variety during back to school time! Make sure you’re checking all those little bins up by the registers too – there’s usually a lot of cool sensory odds and ends there!
I love this! I am always looking for little things to help keep my babies entertained. I never thought that Dollar Tree had so many items!!
I know, right?! Who would have thought?!
Wow! This is such a great list of sensory items that I wouldn’t even have thought of. I love The Dollar Store for a lot of fun and practical stuff my kids like. Awesome list!
Thanks, Brandi! For sure! And their selection is even better during the back to school rush!!
Love this list! I love to do sensory activities with my girls. I need to make a trip to the dollar store ASAP!
Go for it! You’ll find plenty of items for sensory activities for your girls! They even have little science experiment tubes now!
This is great, we love sensory toys def looking into this!
You need to!! Seriously, some of these are way more entertaining than the expensive sensory toys anyway!
Just another reason to love the dollar store! I hadn’t thought of a lot of these items as sensory items. And I love the variety of items too. Thanks for this great resource!
You bet! That’s exactly why I shared this! So many parents think they have to spend boatloads of money on sensory toys, and there are tons of them right there for a buck!
Going to send this to my daughter. We have been over looking the dollar tree. They have some great stuff
Share away, Candy! Yes – you’ve got to look in all those little nooks and crannies by the registers and the front racks!
I love finding tid bits at dollar tree. Tons of stuff for kids and even adults.
Oh yes…I may have gotten a couple 3D magnets and such for myself too! 🤣
These are so unique! I had so idea the Dollar Tree had so many options available!
Neither did I until recently!
Wow great ideas! I didn’t know you could get all of these at the dollar store! Thanks! Def need to try this.
Check yours out and see what you can find!
